Cataloging and Data QA for Drainage and SWM Assets

Support SHA’s data collection efforts for its drainage and storm water management assets. The scope of our effort includes performing quality assurance of existing drainage and storm water management data to support ongoing field data collection efforts statewide. We will also identify and catalog such data from available information at SHA and/or County offices.
Our engineering staff will confirm existing storm water management (SWM) assets; acquire historical as-built information; and provide quality control activities for existing SWM assets. This work may include the research of existing SWM assets and the compilation of information that may be found in existing documentation. The deliverables of this effort will be spreadsheets.
We anticipate that our engineering staff will begin work on this effort in July 2013 and that the work will conclude at the end of March 2014 or when the approved task budget runs out.
The activities we expect to undertake to support this task include:
- Participate in meetings to review details of scope, County-wise priority, and any special needs;
- Compile list of SWM assets in designated counties using the SHA EGIS program;
- Acquire historical data and perform QA activities;
- Develop and submit spreadsheets containing results of the data quality assurance effort;
- Provide project management oversight of activities.
